BIO

I grew up in a music loving family, not necessarily musicians, except my grand-father that used to be a trumpeter in the POMPEY fanfare. Since a little boy, I always loved singing and I started my first singing experience in a junior choirs in a church.

As a teenager, I started to play as an autodidact, the guitare, drum and percussions. At this time I was influence by the 90’s songs and musics played by my parents and all the amazing groups and artists that I could listen over and over again.

When I turned 18, it was an upheaval of new experiences, including my 1st Pop Rock Metal cover band as a singer and guitarist. It was from our first rehearsals and scenes that I fell in love with the voice, my main instrument of expression.

Since then, and until today, I SUNG:

To train, to improve, to feel ready, then to go on stage,

Metal, Hard Rock, Rock, Punk, Grunge, Blues, Jazz (& Gypsy), Bossa, Soul, Funk, Reggae, Ragga, Hip hop, Slam, Electro, Pop, French Variety, etc.

With about fifteen groups, in 3 trios, 2 duets (including MOKKORI ), and 1 solo project (all by voice with a sampler: PSYLLE ),

As a soloist in a jazz philharmonic orchestra (SWING ORCHESTRA),

In more than 300 concerts and 1 web concert, in electric and acoustic, indoors or outdoors,

In France, and in Switzerland, Germany, Luxembourg, Belgium, and the Netherlands,

In recording studios, local radio stations, auditions, tours,

In street performances, in art galleries, in a circus trailer,

In bars, restaurants, party halls,

In small and large venues, and festivals,

In 2008, on stage at PARIS Bercy in a choir of 300 people at the baritone-bass stand, accompanying I MUVRINI and his musicians during a tour, and in 8 other venues, renowned (espacially the hall of the Montreux Jazz Festival).

On a TV set, in M. Drucker's program "Evening Dress", among 50 Choristers, for the same project.

For conquered, stimulating, curious, incredulous, and even sometimes hostile audiences,

For one person straight in the eye, without artifice, and for thousands of people,

For fun, adrenaline, challenge, surpassing oneself, adventure, rage, love, communication, communion, experience, thrill, therapy, trance, laughing, crying, hhh.. Because it feels good.

In parallel with 10 YEARS OF TRANSMISSION :

In the 2000s, I obtained the singing course diploma at the Music Academy International (MAI). I took a year of lessons at the Conservatory of Nancy, to practice lyrical singing and to clearly identify the differences with the singing of current music. I participated in many workshops : Human Beat Box, Overtone Singing, Scat Jazz, etc. And I continued to experiment and study other styles in the world, well beyond European and Anglo-Saxon cultures.

Since 2012, I have been supporting artists with their projects, I am a singing teacher, host of voice workshops, choir director of several choirs, occasional competition jury, and I occasionally record voices for various projects.
